Become a Member

USC workers joining the national organization automatically become members of the USC AAUP chapter. Membership to our chapter is open to tenured, tenure-track faculty, all RTPC, graduate-student employees and postdoctoral fellows who are primarily teachers or researchers, and librarians, archivists, curators, and technicians who participate substantially in the process of teaching or research. 

Membership with the organization is also kept private and known only to the national organization and the local chapter’s leadership council.

Joining takes less than five minutes.

Membership Dues

AAUP recognizes that we all have different economic realities when charging membership dues. You self-disclose your income when you sign up and pay in accordance with what is affordable for you and your family.
